Valo Intranet is discontinued

Staffbase has announced that Valo Intranet will be discontinued as of July 31, 2025. In addition, there will be no new SharePoint add-on to replace Valo. What does this mean for organizations currently using a Valo-based intranet? We will support you in a seamless transition to a modern and independent intranet.

Why is Valo Intranet being discontinued?

Staffbase has shared the following statement with its partners:

"In Q2 2022, we announced plans to reduce our investments in Valo Intranet and Valo Connect and focus our development efforts on Microsoft integrations with Staffbase. Since then, we have seen a steady decline in sales and market demand. Following a comprehensive review of sales volumes and product-market fit, we have decided to discontinue Valo Intranet and Connect and work towards an end-of-life date of 31.07.2025."

Why will there still be support for Valo products?

Yes, Staffbase will ensure that the products function properly in their current state, including the management of critical errors, until July 31, 2025. There will continue to be support from the manufacturer to ensure smooth use. After 31.07.2025, however, support will be discontinued and there will be no further developments.

How long will you still have access to Valo as a customer?

Customers with a perpetual license can continue to access Valo Intranet and Connect in their current state after 31.07.2025, but Staffbase will no longer offer support. Customers with a "normal" subscription, on the other hand, will no longer be able to use Valo after 31.07.2025.
