Countless word-, web-forms and email requests, confusing and slow processes, together with a huge amount of paperwork – this should be fixed as quickly as possible.

Swissgrid decided to tackle these problems together with innobit AG. It quickly became apparent that the best solution to meet the needs of Swissgrid would be a webshop application.

Decentralized and inconsistent IT services. Impossible to track the status of the order as well as the approval processes.


Application forms with Custom SharePoint Web forms through NINTEX workflows. Business Application based on Microsoft SharePoint Server Enterprise.

Swissgrid operates the Swiss power grid system. This forms the backbone for a safe, efficient and effective power supply. Swissgrid employs more than 400 people from 17 countries at the locations in Laufenburg, Frick and Prilly. As a member of the European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E), it is also responsible for coordinating and using the grid in the European electricity exchange.
